3 Birds Granted National Certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Greater Women’s Business Council
3 Birds Marketing, LLC, received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Greater Women’s Business Council, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Greater Women’s Business Council is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
3 Birds is proud to have its dedication to the success of women in the workplace recognized by receipt of this national certification. 3 Birds was founded in 2009 and is a digital software company headquartered near the campus of the University of North Carolina in the heart of Chapel Hill.
“3 Birds employs women at all levels of its organization and is committed to providing career and professional development opportunities to women in the ever expanding fields of software, design, and digital marketing on an ongoing basis. We are proud to be offering these career paths and to have received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise through WBENC,” said Kristen Judd, Co-founder and CEO.
